After a multi-talented professional career, Margaret became a property manager for 8 rental units that she and her husband purchased. A friend suggested that she get a real estate license since she was already in the business so to speak. And, that is exactly what she did in 2016. Starting off in residential real estate with some commercial sales, Margaret quickly realized that she was better suited for commercial real estate based on her previous work experience and contacts. Margaret was introduced to Jim Pickard by a mutual friend and business acquaintance in 2019, and the rest is history.
A strong work ethic combined with attention to detail and customer service has benefited her clients as they know she gets the job done and is “all over it!” Margaret’s level of expertise in handling large and more complicated transactions has strengthened at PCG and weekly staff meetings serve as a good sounding board for the exchange of ideas, strategies, and collaboration.
Margaret grew up in Cleveland and spent a good portion of her early career there. Living in Akron for 27 years, has allowed her to serve on many boards in NE Ohio and be engaged with the community. She is married and has two children, ages 21 and 19. Her husband, Brian, is president of a 4th generation family recycling business in Canton. In her free time, Margaret likes to bicycle long distances on the local trails and attend hot power yoga classes. She is an avid reader, a gourmet cook, and enjoys attending theater, shows and concerts.
